"Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurities for the degrading of their bodies with one another. they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served creatures rather than the creator - who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lists. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the sure penalty for their perversion. Furthermore,since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not be done. they have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. they are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those doing such things deserve death, they do not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practise them." Romans 1:24-32

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life, no-one comes to the Father except through Me"

The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ... That's what is meant when Jesus says "I am the WAY..." You can't get to heaven by doing good works... Good works come through knowing Christ and obeying God's commands... Christianity is not the result of good works.

Jesus said "I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, no-one comes to the father except through me". So...Jesus is the TRUTH and the truth can set you free... Therefore it is Jesus who can set you free! You just need to take that step of faith and believe.

"For without Faith it is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God, must believe He exists and that He rewards those who seek him..."

Faith isn't for wusses. It is the "substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen" It isn't blindly groping for a thread of hope. It's knowing what and in whom you believe. It's not just sitting on your backside hoping things will work out, it's stepping out and putting that faith into action.

Jesus came to earth to make a way for YOU to be free! Don't you want to be set free from sin and death?

Jesus is LIFE... We don't have to be a slave to sin and death. Jesus died on the cross and went down to the pit so that you wouldn't have to. He rose again three days later and now sits at the right hand of the Father, and has prepared a place for you. - If only you will believe in him and ask him to forgive you your sins. You don't need to strive for his forgiveness - He wants to forgive you - You must be humble and acknowldege that you have sinned, and ASK for His forgiveness

"This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that Jesus is light and in Him is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5

Christianity is more than just another religion. Every religion has one basic characteristic - the followers are trying to find God or a "god" and please him through their own efforts. Christianity is the opposite. Christianity is God reaching out to mankind - We have not found God - God has called us. To many people this comes as a crushing blow because they prefer religious effort - dealing with God on their own terms, having control and feeling good about being religious. Putting God inside a box and creating mind-sets and limitations to his awesome love and power.

Christianity is not about being religious
All throughout the Bible in the Old and New Testaments, we are taught that God hates religion. True Christianity is a response to what God has done for you. It is about having an intimate relationship with God. Many people reduce Christianity to formalism, rituals, rules, legalism, systems and formulas.

Often Faith and trust are replaced by good works, law takes precedence over grace and, instead of responding to God's great love, we try to "earn" it, and in doing this, we keep God at arms length. And yet, there is more to God's love than we could ever percieve. We have the choice to abide in Him and to live our lives for Him, which is what we were created for in the first place. "Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us." 1 John 3:24

When you confess your sins and give your heart to the Lord, through the blood of Jesus - You are perfect and forgiven. The Holy Spirit will quicken you when you are about to sin - You need to listen and obey.

"The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy." Often when something good happens in your life, Satan will try to rob you. He will try to steal your faith, kill your hope and destroy your vision. You need to take authority over Satan.
