Well, you've made it this far,
so here's a little of what makes me tick!

I'm generally fairly laid back, perhaps a little introvert. I can get quite intense when certain topics come up that I feel strongly about. I am a very determined person, with a definate 'dependant' streak - I want to be able to do things for myself. I'm the sort of person that is not afraid to go up to a perfect stranger and ask for directions, although I'm not too keen on public speaking, or being alone in a large crowd.

I was born in Hamilton and have only travelled as far south as Christchurch. I lived in Wellington/UpperHutt for 5 years and then moved further north with my parents and sister to Whangarei. In March this year I got engaged, and in August moved to Canada where I am now living with my husband in Ontario.

When I was 10 our family stayed 2 weeks on a launch in the Bay of Islands - that, and our regular holidays on a 25ft yacht on Lake Rotoiti (from age 3 - 9) are my most memorable holidays. I'd love to do that sort of thing again some day. I would love to do an Old & New Testament Bible Lands tour someday, God-willing. I'd also like to tour Europe and I particularly want to see more of Canada and visit Australia.

I don't currently play any sports, but I enjoy watching them, (cricket and netball on tv and sometimes rugby, live). I do however love kayaking, walking, camping, and bushwalks.

I enjoy a variety of styles of music, including the following: Polarboy, Audio Adrenaline, Delirious, RSJ, DCT, TobyMac, All Star United, Five Iron Frenzy, The OC Supertones, Switchfoot, Third Day, Sonic Flood, Among Thorns, Jars of Clay, Jaci Valasquez, Michelle Tumes, Charlie Hall, Bare Naked Ladies, Googoo Dolls, U2.

I'm big on lawyer movies and anything that makes you think, I'm not overly fond of American slapstick comedy, but will watch them now and then. I do like Romantic Comedies though, and like a good British Comedy. Some of my favourite movies are: The Client, A Time to Kill, Shawshank Redemption, Much Ado About Nothing, Miss Congeniality, Pretty Woman, Nell, Maverick, Catch Me if You Can, A Walk to Remember, Billy Elliott, and The Full Monty.
